Follow the Scientific Method
If you have followed the steps of the scientific method, as outlined in the preceeding pages, you should have a good idea of how to proceed.
Document Changes
Let’s say, though, that you find that one of your steps is not working well, and that in the middle of the experiment, you decide to change a procedure. Make sure you write down anything that you change and how you changed it. Write down your observations as you go along, because chances are, you won’t remember everything later.
