Eyes to the Sky

In order to create the best family experience in space exploration we have restructured the way our popular night program is offered.

Join us for an evening with the stars… literally!  Explore the skies with our professional-grade Meade LX Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. These free informal events will be in the parking lot behind the Explorium (weather permitting). Recommended and appropriate for ages 8 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

No registration required just show up!

The telescope will be out for at least one hour after the listed start time.

See Saturn's rings, Jupiter's red spot, or even the Moon's craters through our spectacular telescope. The Children’s Science Explorium at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton has a professional grade (16" Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain) computer-driven telescope. Explorium staff and volunteers will guide you through a tour of well-known stars and planets and share stories of the night sky.
