The Children’s Science
Explorium is a “hands-on” museum focusing on the physical sciences,
with a target audience of grades kindergarten through fifth grade. A short,
exciting and informative demonstration by the staff will precede the
exploration of the museum. Challenge worksheets on the exhibits are
available. The exhibits address many facets of the physical sciences:
electricity, rocketry, weather are few that
are offered.
The
programs, live demonstrations, and permanent and visiting exhibits are designed
to enhance classroom instruction, incorporate Sunshine State Standards,
provide “hands-on” learning experiences, and inspire future scientists. You
and your students are invited to be a part of the excitement at the
Explorium in the upcoming months, and wish you a productive and rewarding
school year! |
