Explorium Collections

The Children’s Science Explorium is a hands-on science center designed for children 5 - 12 years of age and their caregivers. We offer fascinating, interactive exhibits that spark children’s natural curiosity about how and why things work as they do. Each of our exhibits invites visitors to explore, build and examine their understanding of the fantastic world we live in! Our collection of permanent exhibits focuses on physical science concepts, including electricity, magnetism, sound and vibrations, engineering and much more. Each exhibit is hands-on and designed to challenge visitors to use problem-solving skills.

Richard Newman Robot Collection

HighTechScience.org is the brainchild of Richard Newman, who over 35 years ago founded High-Tech Productions. This privately owned company in Florida is one of the leading tape & disk duplication businesses in the world.

Richard Newman has also amassed the World's Largest private collection of authentic Flown Space Artifacts. The collection is so extensive that it is housed and exhibited at several science & space museums.

The Children's Science Explorium is currently housing a small sample of Mr. Newman’s robot collection. The robots range from only a few inches to life-size, including R2D2 from Star Wars, B9 from Lost in Space, and Robbie Robot featured in a series of Sci-fi movies.  In late 2009 Richard’s robot collections was declared the "Worlds Largest" and featured in several international publications. It was also nominated for inclusion into the next edition of the "Guinness Book of Records".
