Admission

Admission to the Children’s Science Explorium is free of charge. 

The cost to ride the Sugar Sand Park Carousel is $1.00 per person.

Hours 

Monday – Friday                          9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Weekends and Holidays          10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Explorium is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Directions

From I-95

Exit I-95 onto Palmetto Park Rd. (Exit 44), West.

Turn South (left) onto Military Trail.

Park entrance is the very first left (East side of the road).

Pass gatehouse and make a right at the stop sign; make second right into Community Center parking lot. 

Traveling the Florida Turnpike

Exit the Florida Turnpike onto Glades Rd. (Exit 75).

Travel East on Glades Rd. to Powerline Rd.

Go South on Powerline Rd.

Turn Left (East) on Palmetto Park Rd.

Turn Right onto Military Trail, traveling South. 

Park entrance is the very first left (East side of the road).

Pass gatehouse and make a right at the stop sign; make second right into Community Center parking lot.

TRAVELING ON THE SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY

Travel East to I-95.

Take I-95 North to Palmetto Park Rd. (Exit 44), West.

Turn South (left) onto Military Trail.
