Our volunteers participate in a wide variety of activities at the Explorium. They greet and create fun experiences for our guests in the Explorium and at our activity cart, the Experiment Express. The more you volunteer, the more you get to do: make slime, build and launch rockets, create circuits, experiment with electricity, pan for gems, build bridges, design earthquake-proof structures, and just plain have fun!
We accept volunteers who are 14 years of age and older for our Exhibit Guide position; those interested in volunteering as Science Camp Assistants must be at least rising sophomores in high school.
Volunteers under age 18 must have parent/guardian approval. Volunteers and parents/guardians must attend an orientation meeting and sign a behavioral and commitment contract. |
