The Children’s Science Explorium is dedicated to providing fun and exciting methods of teaching science. Part of our goal is to help parents and children experiment and have fun together.

When visiting the Explorium, we ask that you tour the museum with your children and help them make some exciting discoveries. We provide challenge sheets and scavenger hunts for our permanent and traveling exhibits – why not work on them together?

Programs Calendar
Our programs are designed to foster an appreciation of science, and our After School Science Series and Weekend Programs are fun ways to do some safe experimentation. (Parents even attend our 5 – 6 year old Science Series programs.)

Science Camp
Science Camp, offered each summer, consists of seven one-week sessions.
Information becomes available in mid to late February, and registration is mail-in only beginning in March.

Student Community Service Credits
Do you have a teenager who needs community service credits for school? We offer volunteer opportunities for rising high school sophomores and older.
