The Children’s Science Explorium is taking you and your family on a guided tour of the Kennedy Space Center! The CSE Edventure Team will be traveling on a chartered bus starting at 7 am (check in is at 6:30) and returning at 10 pm the same day. This is a family science adventure specifically structured as a parent/child experience. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Our knowledgeable staff will be explaining in detail:
Two IMAX Theatre shows are included in the admission: “Space Station 3D” – Narrated by Tom Cruise, this 3D film puts you right in the middle of a massive international undertaking as Astronauts and Cosmonauts construct the International Space Station 200 miles above Earth. “The Dream is Alive” – Get an insider’s view of the intriguing Space Shuttle program. Filmed by Shuttle Astronauts and narrated by Walter Cronkite, this film captures the awesome beauty and thrilling sensations of space flight, as well as the daily business of living and working in space. Details: Your ticket price includes your bus fare and general admission into the Kennedy Space Center complex. KSC tour busses shuttle groups between the various venues such as the Saturn V Center. Admission to the IMAX theatres is included in the general admission. The CSE staff will start the adventure with a group lecture in the Rocket Garden and then in the Shuttle Plaza. The group will have free time to see the IMAX films and visit the many exhibits in the complex. Lunch and snacks and dinner are not included.
